The Missouri Department of Transportation is beginning a project to improve the always-flooding culvert at the intersection of Vivion & Frontier. Frontier will be closed at Vivion for the duration of the project, and Vivion will have lane width reductions. Weather permitting, work is expected to be completed on January 30, 2019.

PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will narrow northbound and southbound lanes of 69 Highway (NE Vivion Rd.) between NW Waukomis Dr. and N. Also note: Frontier Rd. will be closed to through traffic during this improvement project. All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
